This is hard to believe right now, but it’s true.
You’re very afraid much of the time now. You don’t see an end to what seems like impossible situations. Guess what: there will be an end to those situations. And one day you’ll be proud of getting through them. If you believe nothing else, believe this.
We’re here for you, and that you’re not alone. During this time, it is so important to think about all the things we have to be hopeful about. Here are a few:
* We are taking time to reflect on what is most important – our family, our friends, our communities, and our health.
* Many of us (who are able) are taking time to stay home, to slow down, and to take care of our bodies and minds.
* We are being challenged to be kind in the face of hardship. So many of us are checking in on our neighbors, making sure those who have compromised immune systems have enough supplies if they cannot go outside, and sharing vital information to protect one another.
How are you feeling? How are you coping?
